Christmas Decor and Festival of Trees

Cute little Salt and Pepper shakers

I wrapped the kids frames with fun Christmas wrapping
and hung their stockings with them

I was so happy to get a new illuminated temple square, love it!!
and look at the Disney coo coo clock set, we still love it too

Dad and me, my hands without the braces, and doing really well!

So happy to have Krystal and the kids come be with us!!

Keeton cheesing it up, while getting the Lego tree stuff in the shot

Maloree being so silly, looking at Minnie and Mickey!!

Maloree loves her Minnie!! Mickey's alright too!!

Quick shot on the way out! Amazing how many great ways to
decorate trees and enjoy Christmas! So great that all the
money used in this great event, goes completely to
Primary Children's Medical Center!!

Power outage!! Not Fun!!

So, the day after my hand surgery, we had a huge wind storm, and it
took out our power!! We thought it would come right back on, but NO!
We were without power for 2 days, and it was SO cold!!
Even Gunner let me wrap him up in a blanket! Crazy dog!!
He seemed happy to stay there until I decided to take him for a ride in
the car to warm him up! Our power finally came on 2 days later!!

11 New stores opening at Fashion Place Mall!!

Not sure how I got roped into this one, but Tracee and I went to see
if we could get into H & M's new grand opening, yeah right!!
Even the people who slept outside all night didn't get in for hours after they opened,
Oh well! we will have to make a trip there another time.
But not for a while!!

It looked and sounded crazy, but fun!!
On 11-11-11, Fashion Place opened 11 new stores in their mall.
Not sure what all 11 are, but that's what they said!

Grandparents day Breakfast at Keeton's school!!

Dad and I were so excited about having breakfast with Keeton
at his school, for Grandparents day!

Keeton knew just what he wanted! All sugary
and sweet, just like him!!

He wanted a tootsie Roll (cinnamon roll)
and a chocolate donut, with Chocolate milk.
No fruit or eggs, just the sweet stuff!!
And because he can get away with it, with his
Grandparents, he did!!
After breakfast, we had our picture taken with him,
then we walked around the halls and Keeton
showed us his classroom, where we were able to meet
his teacher, Mrs Glade.
It is so fun to be able to have these fun times with the kids!!
After that we went into the foyer where they were having a book sale,
Good selling tactic for them, when grandparents can buy!!
Keeton got a big star wars lego book and then he picked out a
cute stuffed white dog in a doggy bed for Maloree!!
We did all that even before Maloree woke up in the morning!

English Toffee 101

Today Tracee and I went to Becky Andreasen's house to learn to make her
Famous, English Toffee. Becky walked us through each step
and had everything ready and sent us both home with the batches we made!

It was so fun for Tracee and I to learn this technique from her,
we will be making more soon, so you better be on our Good List-
If you want some!!

It tastes even better than it looks!!

I don't know why I sometimes do this strange angle of picture taking, but you get the Idea.
Tracee and I love to be together and doing fun things and just hanging out! Tracee is so willing to learn
fun new things that make a house a home! I am so proud of her.
In the spring, we are going to go back to Becky's house and she will teach us how to make
Easter eggs with centers. Any of you who know Becky, knows she is so good at
these and many other things, so nice and so fun to be with her!
